About the Investment Firm:
Alternative asset manager with a multi-manager, multi-asset markets approach and led by very well-known investment and risk management principals seeks Discretionary Macro Portfolio Manager.
About the Role (internal hire):
Portfolio Manager will work directly with the Firm’s founders, engage collaboratively with other portfolio managers, build their own macro business, and develop the Firm’s markets outlook. The CT-based Firm is flexible on geographic location within the US, with a preference for a hire based in the East Coast time zone (EST).
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience, abilities, and skills:
• A current 3+ year track record with compelling risk-adjusted results. Preference for simpler instruments to express markets convictions (ex: futures/equities)
• A voraciously curious intellect, a love of markets, and an ability to explain investment theses clearly and concisely
• Entrepreneurial business-building mindset and strong collaborative, interpersonal skills, with knowledge and ability to inspire confidence and influence decision-making with firm founders/principals
About the SMA hire:
The Firm also grows their business through through allocations to portfolio managers/teams externally (SMAs). The ideal SMA PM/team will also have a current 3+ year track record with compelling risk-adjusted investment returns. The PM/team can be based in the US, UK, HK or Australia.
